maybe just for now
an all time favorite of mine, Andy Kehoe has new work up at Thinkspace in Santa Monica, titled "The World Unseen and Those in Between"
Opening Reception on December 11th
there is just something enchanting and haunting about his work. fully understand the sense of anxiety and loneliness in each but the soothing quality of his color palette make it calm in some ways. pretty much helplessly in love with the last piece........ sigh.

Tokujin Yoshioka is a Japanese artist whose projects in space design and installations brought on a quiet calm. he has collaborated with some very high end clients to create showroom spaces above and beyond your typical store set up.
Latest atmosphere is created for Hermes in Paris.
i want to dive into that fluffy white goodness and never leave. to be cozy forever. and ever.

The Rip
the Plastiki Expedition is a hand picked crew of adventurers, scientists, and creatives setting out to sail across the Pacific Ocean on the "Plastiki"- a 60 foot Catamaran made entirely from reclaimed plastic bottles.
via National Geographic: San Francisco Bay's Pier 31 is the birthplace of the Plastiki, the innovative, impossible catamaran of eco-adventurer David de Rothschild. The 60-foot plastic-bottle boat will depart this spring to sail some 11,000 miles to Sydney. With a deckside vegetable garden, solar and wind power, and other green "surprises," the Plastiki is at the leading edge of sustainable technologies.
pretty rad.... all hands on deck! buy a toy and donate.
