talk about sadfaces,
Allison Schulnik's paintings evoke a sense misfitted souls staring out at viewer. clowns, monkeys, and homeless bums are almost court jester-like in their expressions. partly scary, partially smiling, 100% entertaining.
This LA based painter, sculptor, filmmaker, and all around talent prepares for a solo show @Mark Moore Gallery in LA opening Jan 2010. mark your calendars!!!
