fireflies in the night whisper
as i was coming home from a lively well needed run last night, i stopped in my tracks in front of this gallery. the photos above do not do it justice as it is more of seeing these individual pieces as the whole installation... i recommend a gander. worth it. eyes will delight.
Artist is Truong Tran @ the Mina Dresden Gallery, SF

tomorrow is all yours
absolutely lovely photographs by Jeff Luker. Very California.... Road trip perhaps? Jeff used to assist the very talented and much blogged about Ryan McGinley. it all makes sense.
he also created a printed book of what his eye sees... worth every penny.

pink panther
ive posted about Mark Whalen before.... he goes by Kill Pixie. This is from a new series from his last solo show in 2009 at MK Gallery in Berlin.
subject matter is a bit more on the creepier side with masked people in spas & hot tubs. but regardless its rad.
