The Date Farmers

The Date Framers Carlos Ramirez and Armando Lerma joined artistic forces in 1998 after meeting at a gallery in Coachella, CA. Got their first gig and their name from New Image Art based on the fact that Carlos was in fact picking dates on his father's farm.
Through their unique perspective as American-born Chicanos, The Date Farmers explore topical subjects with a profound simplicity.
